Yesterday (February 12, 2021), the Bektashi World Leader, His Grace, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, participated in the ceremony held in the hall of the Municipal Council of Skrapar, where he was awarded the title “Honorary Citizen of Skrapar”, Mr. Spartak Braho, member of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania, an intellectual who comes from a well-known Bektashi family and a respected friend of the Bektashi Holy See. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Skrapar, Adriatik Mema, the Prefect of Berat Region Valbona Zylyftari, the Head of Berat Regional Council, Minister Blendi Klosi, leaders of organizations and associations of the region, local intellectuals from Tirana other countries, journalists, etc. Mayor Mema handed over to Brahos the title “Honorary Citizen of Skrapar”, with the motivation: “In appreciation of his outstanding activity as a member of the Albanian Parliament in several legislatures, as a publicist and devout social activist in defense of the historical values of the Anti-Fascist War “National Liberation and those who fell in this war, the continuous promotion of patriotism through the exaltation of prominent figures of Skrapar and beyond, as well as the traditions that have given honor and dignity to the province of Skrapar at all times.”

He with his maturity, in the journey of life, in the historical events in Albania stand out qualities and valuable features for the time we live, as a man, intellectual, politician, publicist, journalist, lawyer, and member of the Albanian Parliament for 20 years. Spartak has made books, studies and publications on problems of Albanian legislation, electoral reform and justice reform. But Spartak is also a regular communicator with the inhabitants of Skrapar not only as an Deputy, but also an intellectual, present in all patriotic cultural activities organized in Çorovoda and the Administrative Units of Skrapar. He has always been in our activities, in the Bektashi World Headquarters and we have felt his help. Interesting is the recently published book entitled: “Massacre Servet Pëllumbi”, which brings all the complexity of historical events after the overthrow of the communist system in Albania after 1990 and until today .
