Today, on this day of the 76th anniversary of the former President of the Republic, Mr. Rexhep Mejdani pray God to give him longevity, health, happiness and energy to further contribute with his dedication and wisdom for the good of Albania and Albanians. As the World Leader of the Bektashis, on behalf of millions of our believers around the world, I bless President Mejdani for his contribution as head of state and as an intellectual, in the difficult situations the country has gone through, such as the war for the liberation of Kosovo and for peace, kindness and human love among Albanians. To the Bektashis, he is and will remain a loving, wise, benevolent and supportive man in the mission of our faith “Without homeland there is no religion”.
