Today, the Bektashi World Leader received in a special meeting Dr. Christian Steiner, who has been the Head of Mission at the Austrian Embassy in Tirana since September 2019.
Earlier, from the end of 2016 until the spring of 2019, he headed the Executive Secretariat of the Austrian Presidency of the EU for 2018 in Vienna. In diplomatic missions abroad, he has been deputy. Ambassador of the Austrian Embassies in Damascus, Ankara and Beijing. In the Federal Ministry of Rep. of Austria for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs he has held several positions in the departments responsible for EU affairs, among others, from 2013 to 2016 as Director of the EU Budget, Finance and Monetary Affairs Unit and from 2003 to 2004 as Director of the EU Relations Unit with the Western Balkans. His diplomatic career began as an Attaché at the Austrian Embassy in Tirana in 1996-1997. Christian Steiner studied Economic and Social Sciences at the Vienna University of Economics.
