On behalf of the Catholic believers of the Archdiocese of Shkodra I wish you all the best for the holiday of ‘ID AL - ADHA, ie. Eid al-Adha.
Today's feast is reminiscent of the test of faith of Abraham, who was willing to sacrifice his son to prove his faith in God. But God rewarded him by replacing the boy with a lamb.
The true sacrifice, like the sacrifice of Abraham, is the exercise of the will of God, it is the respect of human rights and freedom of religion, it is the belief in the other, as Abraham, our common Father in religion, has testified to us.
