Yesterday, on May 30, 2019, was organized the event "Religious Desedination in Communist Albania (1967-1989)", at the European University of Tirana, in the framework of: New Exploratory Phase in search of Residence Cultures in Eastern Europe, directed by Assoc. Prof. Konstantinos Giakoumis. With the participation of representatives of religious communities in Albania, participated the World Leader of the Bektashis, His Excellency, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj where he spoke at a panel and an exhibition of rare museum objects on religious dissent, giving interesting examples of dervish resistance , fathers and Bektashi believers in keeping alive the Bektashi faith, in complete illegality, during the years 1967-1989.
