With deep sorrow we learned today, the separation from life of our brother, Rustem Peçi, former Military Major and Chairman of the Veterans of LANÇ of Albania. On this occasion, as the World Leader of the Bektashis, I offer my condolences to the family of Rustem, my dear friend and friend of all the Bektashis, the Committee of Veterans of the LANÇ of Albania, many friends, colleagues and friends, inside and outside Albania, for this loss!
May the God relieve your pain! Rest in peace, our good brother!
Rustem Peçi, was and will remain a rare friend, as a patriot, as a family member, as a statesman and as a man with a big heart, who knew how to face with great success, many challenges that this life had reserved for him. As for us Bektashis, he will remain an unforgettable brother, friend and collaborator, we had him with us, in the problems and troubles we had, in our many activities of a religious and patriotic character. Kindness, his word, determination and concrete contribution to be near you, were qualities of rare people. Precisely for this, his life and example will be constantly honored and respected between generations.
The life of Rustem Shefqet Peçi, the prominent son of Picari of Gjirokastra (born on September 5, 1935) was a dignified life and remains a branch of a high and stately oak of that region. As such, he remained during his education as a Skanderbeg, in higher education and academics in Albania and abroad, as a major military and the last decade, at the head of the organization of veterans of LANÇ.
So today, and in this sad day for the loss of our brother Rustem, appreciating that man, we need to become more aware and reflect, for more kindness and love for each other, for more brotherly unity and love for him Great God, so that together we can face the difficult problems of the pandemic and other difficulties of life, so resolutely and persistently!
May the memory and life of our brother, Rustem, not be forgotten!
May his soul rest in peace!
