On Friday, October 8, 2021, the Bektashi World Leader, His Holiness, Haji Dede Edmond Brahimaj, received in a meeting an Israeli delegation led by the former Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Israel, Mr. Hilik Bar, General Secretary of the Labor Party - the party in Lushteg.
The conversation focused on the special friendship that the Albanian people nurture for the Jewish people, forged during the Second World War, when the Albanians opened their doors to the persecuted Jewish people by German Nazism and protected them, with their lives.
The World Leader, Dede Edmond Brahimaj, focused on some projects of economic, cultural and social character that are feasible and with the assets of the Bektashi World Headquarters, which further help, for the economic and cultural development of the two countries, common beliefs.
On his part, former Deputy Speaker Halik, expressed gratitude to the World Leader and our people, said that this friendship and this cooperation will continue.
