Dear Bektashi clerics and believers around the world!
Today, the 246th anniversary of the declaration of the independence of the USA, gives me a good opportunity, in the first place, to congratulate and bless the American brother nation: May it always be at the head of the universal values of freedom, equality and prosperity of nations, with God's help and your human values!
This year's anniversary also coincides with the glorious jubilee of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the USA and Albania, a relationship based on which the brotherhood between our nations was conceived and established in the most unique way. This jubilee, which unites the culminating events of Albania's history, is evidence of a sincere and eternal brotherhood, in preservation of our national identity.
Meanwhile, not without a natural sense of pride, I remind you today to the millions of followers of Haxhi Bektash Veli, that the 100th anniversary in question also constitutes an excellent history of the USA with the Bektashian Holy See, with the patriotic Bektashians of "Vatra" "who, although in exile, never separated their troubles and joys from those of the homeland, of their spiritual and human families.
The Bektashis of the whole world will always remain indebted to the USA for the atmosphere of religious freedom, as well as the help and commitment in establishing the first tekke of this 800-year-old tariqa, in Detroit-Michigan, which in these seven decades of during her life, she has made a valuable contribution, not only to the religious and patriotic education of generations, but also to the completion of the wonderful religious mosaic in the holy land of freedom.
