... The bektashee believers of Albania have two noticeable features. These are the tolerance which they have toward other religions and putting the love for the fatherland above everything else. “There is no coffee without fatherland”, it is one of the expressions used widely from the Albanian Bektashee believers. The Muslim community (sunit), catholic community, orthodox community and the bektashee community are officially known today by the Albanian state. These communities participate in the enjoyements and festivities of one-another, they wish one-another in the feasts and are an real example of the religious tolerance all over the world.”

... in this revolt (1912), where all the bektashee tekkes played the most important role – Father Hysejn Melçani went to the mountain and joined the revolted ones to show once more the flame that he had in his soul in this time of old age, and he made this for the nations’ freedom,- nation which he honoured as the sanctified and flawless leader....

…while Janina and Scutary - two Albanian fortresses –were not yet surrendered in the hands of the enemies, because they were protected by the stainless chests of the Albania’s sons, where had been there sons from North sent by Father Haxhi Kruja and from South sent by Father Abedin Frasheri.

...the bektashee worked hard by respecting totally their duty. In Korca, Father Ramadan Qatromi, in Tepelenë Father Ahmet Turani, in Përmet Father Mustafa Frashëri and Father Xhemali, in Skrapar Father Hysejni, in Gjirokastër Father Aylejmani and Father Selimi, tried hard to keep the people united in favor of the National Congress held in Lushnja on 1920. This Congress will remain holy and unforgotten, because the Albanian people showed that it was a vivid nation for the first time since Vlora’s Congress held on 1912, where Albania proclaimed independence.
