On September 15-17, 2021, the three-day program of the Institute for Freedom of Religion and Democracy took place, in collaboration with Beder University, supported by the Public Relations Office at the US Embassy in Tirana.
Was invited Prof. Dr. Beth Admiraal, from the Department of Political Science at King’s College, USA. Afterwards, representatives from academic institutions of religious communities in our country, spoke about the freedom of religion and democracy, seen from the perspective of different religious beliefs of the institutions they represented. During this three-day training, visits were also made to religious communities. Students from Albania, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, together with representatives of the Beder Institute and University, during their visit to the Bektashi World Headquarters, were received by the Bektashi World Leader, His Holiness, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj. During this visit the history of Bektashism was discussed, and various questions about Bektashi mysticism. Visits were made to various premises of the Bektashi World Headquarters.
