170th anniversary of the founding of the Shëmbërdhenjit – Gramsh tekke (1850-2020)

Bismilahi Rrahmani Rrahim!
In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful!
The erection of the Shëmbërdhenji tekke, three hundred years ago, gathered around its square, brave and patriotic men, who turned it into a unique movement, the expression of Haxhi Bektash Veliu when he says that “It is an obligation like all others, to protect the homeland when it is threatened by danger “. From its foundation until today, the history of this tekke bears the names of a number of dervishes and fathers, who in the times when they lived and led the tekke, laid down their souls for the cause of Bektashi kindness. Nevertheless, the tekke of Shëmbërdhenji will be identified for a long time, with one of its most prominent clerics, the wise father Meleqi, who has been and remains among the pioneers of the Albanian autonomous movement, as well as a brave activist in the field of efforts for education!
Not to be forgotten is the intervention of Dede Reshat Bardhi  in 1997, who laid the foundations for the rebuilding of the tomb and organized clerics, myhibs and believers to arrange other premises of the tekke. Within a few years he was able to turn this house of Haxhi Bektash Veliu into a sacred object of worship, while in 2003, the tomb of our saints was added to the magnificent complex of Shëmërdhenji, which, until then, rested in not at all convenient places.
Arriving at this tekke of dervish Xhelal Resuli, by order of dede Reshati, certainly changed the spirit that surrounds the good places. In the archives of the revival of the tekke, the name of Gramoz Ismaili will always be written, who with his love for the tariqat and tradition, embellished and gave the true meaning to the “Holy Oak”, implying deep respect for the fathers of the sage of this tekke.
Meanwhile, we are grateful to the believers: Manol Xhelili, Lefter Velçani, Met Peshku and others, who even in these difficult times we are going through, have given their financial contribution, wanting to restore Shëmërdhenji, its former glory.
Long live and health, my brother, dervish
Xhelal Resuli!
God bless you all!
Amin!
