On 11 and 12 June 2019, the World Bektashi GrandFather, His Holiness Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, was a special guest in the awarding of the "Global Official Dignitary Awards" for outstanding personalities of peace and philanthropists, the 7th edition of held in Geneva, Switzerland.
The event was attended by the former President of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Alfred Moisiu, who was also awarded with a prize for the contribution given for peace in the Balkans.
"Global Official Dignitary Awards" is a global humanitarian institution honoring the "greatest humanitarians of the world" by the highest degree of Diplomacy, Realms, Business and Economics, Medicine, Philanthropy, Culture & Arts and Entertainment where the contribution of whose clear humanity has had a significant impact on Human Rights, Global Peace, the Green Environment, Education, Health and Welfare, the eradication of Poverty and Empowerment.
