It is celebrated today in Sari Salltëk, Kruja, in the Bektashi tekke, the Day of Ashura. Present were the World Leader of the Bektashis, His Grace Haxhi Dede Baba Edmond Brahimaj, clerics and many Bektashi believers.
This is an important day for the Bektashis. The day of Ashura is considered the day of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, who was besieged in the desert of Karbala 1400 years ago and killed along with a large number of other believers to save the true word of God and Islam.
On this beautiful day, where the sun shine on the top of the mountain of Kruja, His Grace, Haxhi Dede Baba Edmond Brahimaj has given messages of peace and love to all. He greeted the people , gave and received many congratulations.
Such holidays unite not only believers, but all people, so it is important that they are spent in harmony and with loved ones.
Grandfather was also present in the preparation of Ashura, this traditional dessert.
