Today, on January 21, 2022, at the Bektashi World Headquarters, the Holy See, the Bektashi World Grandfather His Holiness, Haji Dede Edmond Brahimaj, received the Ambassador of the Netherlands Reinout Vos, on the occasion of his appointment to the diplomatic mission at the head of the Netherland Embassy in Albania.
Bektashi's grandfather welcomed the ambassador and wished him a successful mission in our country.
In this courtesy meeting, Ambassador Vos was introduced to the history of Bektashism, various issues of mysticism and the importance that God has on the power of human creation, the removal of selfishness and the evils of humanity, on interfaith relations, tolerance and interfaith harmony.
The World Leader praised the friendly relations so far and stressed the importance of the continuous care that we must show for their preservation, which according to him in the context of religious harmony in Albania, went beyond religious affiliation, in order to maintain peace and social cohesion.
The meeting continued with a visit to the Bektashi museum, library, archive, gallery, IT, sound library, photo library, etc.The meeting end with the the donation of some books by the Grandfather.
After exchanging fraternal talks and mutual gratitude, on his part, Ambassador Reinout Vos, thanking the Grandfather of the bektashi Community for the warm reception, said that it was a special pleasure to visit such facilities that inspire only peace. He said, among other things, that relations between the Netherlands and the Bektashi World Center would always be fraternal, for the sake of peace and religious freedom.
