On Thursday, March 4, 2021, the Bektashi World Leader, His Holiness Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, was at the tekke of Greshica Mallakastër, where he participated in the commemoration of the 86th birthday of the former Bektashi World Leader, Haxhi Dede Reshat Bardhi.
The World Grandfather was received and accompanied in the respective traditional rites by the Mayor of Mallakastra, Mr. Qerim Ismailaj.
Along with many believers, in this event that was commemorated in full protective measures, due to Covid-19, were also the clergy: father Faik Selmani, dervish Ardit Selmani and other clergy.
In his speech, among others, the Bektashi World Leader, His Holiness Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj quoted that: “Now, March 4, is not a blessed day only for the tekke of Greshica. This day related to the birth of our myrshid, Dede Reshat Bardhi, in Lusna of Kukes, in the distant year 1935, conveys congratulations and hope to every Bektashi tekke, around the world, wherever our brotherhood unites the souls of people in the way of God . ”
