The World Leader of the Bektashis, His Grace Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, wished from Mount Tomorri all the Bektashi believers for the Holy Feast of Abaz Ali.
Among other things, the Grandfather focused on the situation caused by the coronavirus and the measures that have been taken, stating that he does not believe that there will be infections and that people are praying that this evil will end.
“God will give peace and love. We can not stop people, they have love for God. Measures have been taken for COVID, the area has been disinfected.
Humans are in nature and I do not believe there will be infection. “Therefore, we come and pray that this evil ends once and for all,” he said.
During the 5-day pilgrimage, in the Tekke of Kulmak and near the shrine of Abaz Ali, religious rites of the holiday are performed, where each pilgrim prays for health, goodness and peace in their families. All believers and pilgrims who join this holy feast, as a sign of kindness sacrifice a lamb for themselves and their families.
Believers set up their tents in this holy place performing not only the feast, but also climbing walking the top of Mount Tomor, which is located 2417 meters above sea level. Pilgrimage days on Mount Tomori end on 25 August.
