The Interfaith Council of Albania (Muslim Community of Albania, Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania, Catholic Church of Albania, Bektashi World Headquarters and Evangelical Brotherhood of Albania), are following with concern the political situation in our country, which directly affects the social, economic aspect and in the future of our youth, creating an insecure state and undermining the hope of a suffering but vital and strong people in the face of the trials it has faced historically. The Interfaith Council of Albania calls on the Albanian politics for dialogue and restraint, as well as for the solution of the protracted conflict, which is deepening the poverty of the Albanians, their escape, the weakening of the democratic institutions in our country, and is damaging seriously the image of Albania before the world. All of us together must strongly insist on the virtue of hope, which is being wounded day by day, calling on all political factors to put aside verbal or physical violence, contempt for the political opponent, and necessarily find solutions in favor of the entire Albanian society, of those noble mothers and fathers, who nurtured the generations with the sacred love for this land, especially of our youth, which deserves a place with a hopeful future.
