In the mentioned meeting, the representatives of the Bektashi World Headquarters, based in Tirana, thanked the members of the Commission for their reception and showed special interest in the Draft Law on Religious Communities in Kosovo.
Following the meeting, the Chairperson of the Commission, Mrs. Duda Balje, pointed out that the above-mentioned Draft Law has not yet passed the Assembly session in the first reading, and that it is expected that this Draft Law will be on the agenda of the Assembly of Kosovo as soon as possible. that this Law will be approved by the members of the Assembly of Kosovo.
Participating in the discussion, the World Leader, His Grace Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimi, noted that the Bektashis of Kosovo expect their status in Kosovo to be legally resolved soon and that they finally know all the rights and obligations from the aforementioned Law on Religious Communities in Kosovo.
Other members of the Commission on Human Rights, Gender Equality, Missing Persons and Petitions also asked the guests from the Bektashi World Headquarters, based in Tirana, numerous questions about their work and activities as a whole.
