Thousands of Muslim believers prayed Eid al-Fitr today in "Skanderbeg Square" in Tirana and thousands of others in the main squares of every city in the country.
The celebrations of Eid al-Fitr have started in the early hours of the morning with the Fajr prayer.
In this holy prayer honored with his participation, the World Grandfather, His Grace Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj.
Then the Eid program began with the recitation of a passage from the Holy Qur'an, which was conveyed by the imam of the mosque of "Et'hem Bey", Mr. Elton Karaj and continued with occasional greetings.
Believers present in the square were then dispersed to celebrate with their families and relatives.
Leaders of religious communities, the World Leader of the Bektashis, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, the Head of the Orthodox Church, Anastas Janullatos and the Head of the Catholic Church, George Frendo, also made part of this prosperous and festive day with their presence.
In their messages to the President of the Muslim Community of Albania, H. Bujar Spahiu, they expressed their sincere congratulations and greetings for the sacrifice of Muslim believers during the blessed month of Ramadan that we left behind and wished the believers more kindness in the family and our common society.
