It was a collaboration of the Bektashi Holy See with the University "Eqerem Çabej" of Gjirokastra that highlighted the patriotic values of the Bektashi order, conceived with major events in the history of the nation. Organized in the premises of the University "Eqerem Çabej", in the presence of senior clerics, the Rector, and intellectuals of southern Albania, through greetings and speeches, shed light on the journey of Bektashism, especially in the last two centuries, as and the prominent role of the life and work of father Selim Gjirokastra, who 75 years ago had passed from this world, leaving a legacy to future generations of wonderful visages of faith.
In his speech, the Bektashi World Leader, His Grace Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, after thanking present, reminded everyone that especially in the southern part of Albania, the Bektashi faith had always been growing and developing, as the high sensitivity his, eternal faith in the Creator, had been inseparable from the territories of Albania.
