Today, September 17, 2021, the Bektashi World Headquarters, under the special care of the Bektashi World Leader, His Holiness Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, held the annual pilgrimage to the Harakop-Tepelena tekke. The courtyard of the tekke was full of believers and benefactors, showing that this arrival at the tekke and the increase in interest, constitutes not only an act of respect for the history of the Bektashi order, but also a clear proof that belief in God is coming woke up and woke up.
In greeting the occasion, the World Grandfather, Dede Edmond Brahimaj, among other things said: “Dear representatives of the local government! Dear diplomats present today at this event! Dear my clergy brothers! Faithful brothers and sisters present today on this marked day of the traditional pilgrimage to the famous Harakop tekke in Levan of Tepelena! As the World Leader of the Bektashis, I congratulate you and bless you for more kindness, for more hope in the Great God, for more love, peace and harmony, in your families and in the community where you live and work. Harakop tekke has a history in the bright path of Bektashism in Albanian lands. It was founded around 1870 by Hussein Father with the contribution of Selman Pasha and the inhabitants of the village of Levan and Kahës of Tepelena. In 1912 this tekke was led by Father Sulo. After the wars, around 1923, according to Hasluck, the center was run by the fifth father of the line, while the first four fathers were buried in the tekke. It is known that in this period, father Hasani, who previously led the tekke of Kremenar, which was destroyed around 1914 by the Greek andarts, lived in Krahës. The braves of the Krahës area defended the tekke. The fathers and dervishes of the Harakop tekke have contributed throughout the period of the national renaissance and to the 1920 Vlora War and the two world wars. The clerics of the Harakop tekke have collaborated with the tekkes of Zall, Kostan, Turan, Gllava, Rabija and Matohasanaj, Maricaj and Rozec. On this marked day, it is the occasion to identify and remember our Bektashi clergy brothers, who have led and worked in this tekke for decades and centuries, namely Father Hysen , father Sadik Zhapokika, father Sulo M. Ramajn, father Hasan Kremenari, (1914 -1928) father Bajram Vëndreshën, father Fejzo Dervishin, father Neki Çaushin, father Hodo Gjirokastra, dervish Hysen Skrapar, dervish Shazivar Nivica, grandfather Sejdin Canaj, dervish Brahim Ruçaj, dervish Zenel Isufajn, dervish Shajv was the last, when in 1967, places of worship were closed and religious belief was banned by law, by the state of the time. To come to this, the Bektashi clerics after 1990, as well as today's clerics, dervish Mikel Onjeja for his dedicated work in the area of Tepelena and myhibin, an activist who helped for building the tombs in Harakop. Today will remain special, because today, for the first time, a pilgrimage is organized in this historic place, a pilgrimage that will already be annual! God bless everyone! Amin! ”
