“Student sisters and brothers!
In these cold days of December, we, the Bektashi clerics and believers, are on the streets and in the squares, at the barricades of your concerns, both civic and useful in the context of today and tomorrow.
We are close to you that the books of the former school, the Bektashi dervishes and fathers took in Sofia and Bucharest, in Bitola or Egypt and filled our tekkes with them, passing on to the generations of Albanians along with the love for the Supreme God the light of the knowledge for which our great Naim Frashëri wrote that only he "will lead us forward!".
Our universities, certainly forgotten in these days of fragile Albanian democracy, are worth considering as institutions of deep knowledge, as place where our boys and girls are educated and get ready to take in their hands not only their destinies, but the whole nation .
That is why we unite our voice with yours, that is why we pray today to find the bridges of sincere cooperation with the state conscience, that is why we want to knock on the doors of Europe with our identity, both moral and cultural, as well as with satisfactory intellectual levels.
We believe that the relevant government mechanisms will be shaken by this new December movement, to respond to students with energetic action not simply to keep them from leaving Albania, but for a secure and full future prosperity of the nation.
God help us! ”
