Every year, on September 21, the whole world celebrates the "International Day of Peace". The United Nations General Assembly has declared this day to be committed to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and between countries and peoples.
Even today, on September 21, 2021, in the Holy See of the Bektashi World Headquarters, the Executive Board of the Inter Religious Council of Albania and representatives from all religious communities, under the special care of the Bektashi World Leader, His Holiness, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, At the same time, the Chairman of the Interreligious Council of Albania, commemorated this day through several youth meetings, with young people, where they discussed some new commitments, based on the strategy of strengthening inter Religious dialogue and cooperation, as a key element in preventing hate speech and radicalism of any form, with full confidence that, dialogue and love for the other always triumphs.
Also, in this meeting moderated by the Secretary General of IRCA Dr. Genti Kruja, the members of the Board were acquainted with some important decisions of the Board of the Presidency, such as the establishment and approval of the Education Commission at the IRCA with representatives from five religious communities, the establishment of an ad-hoc working group to draft the Regulation of the Interreligious Council, as well as the engagement of a group of experts and an interfaith youth group with representatives from all religious communities for open trainings and forums, which will take place in the framework of the memorandum of cooperation and agreement that IRCA has with CVE , signed by 5 leaders of religious communities, members of the Presidency Board.
The members of the Executive Board also talked about a draft law regarding some changes in the Family Code, for which IRCA through the lawyers of all religious communities will draft some suggestions and recommendations for the Law Commission in the Assembly.
Afterwards, the members of the Executive Board discussed some projects that are being implemented with several national and international partners, for which the Department of Women and the Department of Youth will be engaged in the Inter Religious Council of Albania, with which a workshop was held. .
