His Grace Haxhi Baba Edmond Brahimaj
To the Bektashi brothers and sisters
Strongly respected!
On my personal behalf and on behalf of the Archdiocese of Shkodra-Pult I wish you: HAPPY feast of ‘ID AL-FITR, Eid.
The feast of Eid comes after the fasting and prayer you made during the month of Ramadan, which is important for the life of the Muslim community and which I wish has given everyone a new strength in the spiritual, personal, social and family life, in this conditioned by pandemic.
The Pontifical Council for Interfaith Dialogue expresses to all of you its best wishes with heartfelt congratulations and this year His Message has the motto: “Christians and Muslims: together to protect places of worship”:
“We know that places of worship are as important to Christianity and Islam as they are to other faiths. For both Christians and Muslims, churches and mosques are designated spaces for personal and community prayer, built and equipped to aid silence, reflection, and meditation. They are spaces where one can reach the depths of the soul, making it easy to meet God in silence. Therefore, a place of worship for any religion is a “house of prayer” (Isaiah 56: 7).
May the Merciful and Almighty God help us to always walk the path of goodness and compassion!
Happy holiday to you all!
Happy Eid
Monsignor Angelo MASSAFRA OFM
Metropolitan Archbishop of Shkodra-Pult
