The book fair ‘Tirana 2019’ opens today the doors of its 22nd edition at the Palace of Congresses.
This is one of the main events of knowledge promotion. Citizens will have the opportunity to visit about 100 exhibition stands of all Albanian-speaking areas that have joined the activity.
Bektashi World Headquarters The Holy See, participates for the second time in this fair, with a special stand, with different titles of Religious-Cultural character.
What always makes the fair special is that readers have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of their favorite authors as well as to get acquainted with new publications.
About 60 new titles will be promoted at the fair and about 200 writers, creators, translators will be part of the 100 activities, which will be organized on the stands of publishing houses.
The organizer of the Fair, Petrit Ymeri, who is also the President of the Publishers Association, announced that there will be many activities during the days of the fair related to the translation and promotion of new publications. He also underlined that Albanian publishers have made great strides compared to state institutions.
The fair will last from 13 to 17 November.
