The tomb of dervish Tahiri.

Dervish Tahiri from the village of Gjergjova, Gërxhani tribe passed to the Bektashi rules, became a spiritual member, myhib, took his hand to father Fetahu, who sent him to the tekke of Barmash, to father Sulejmani to prepare as a dervish. In 1898, at the age of 25, he became a dervish. Afterwards he worked as an emigrant for two years, he also went to the Bektashi World Center, Haxhi Bektash, where he received lessons and experience on Bektashism until 1918. After returning to his homeland he went to many other tekkes. Served in the years (1918-1928) in the tekke of Prishta-Skrapar then in the years (1928-1938) in the tekke of Frashëri-Përmet. Courses in the years (1938-1946) in the tekke of Backa and the dervishes of Micani. While in the years (1946-1952) he served again in the tekke of Frashër and in the last period of his life from (1952-1961) he served in the tekke of Turan of Korça. His path was continued by his cousin Shaqir Lite Gërxhani, who dressed as a dervish in 1935, where he served in the tekke of Starja Kolonjë, Frashër, in Kryegjyshata, in Kuta of Vlora, and finally in Krahës of Tepelena. The Gërxhani tribe had two clerics, dervishes Tahiri and dervishes Shaqir Gërxhani. Dervish Tahiri for 63 years served as a devout cleric and left his mark wherever he served in the tekkes of our country. For his tomb is set in 1915, since he was alive, of an event when he was seriously injured. He passed away in 1961 in the tekke of Turan. But his nephew, doctor Novrus Gërxhani fulfilled the will of dervish Gërxhani, to erect his tomb in the village of Gjergjovë, on the Coast, which was inaugurated with a ceremony on November 19, 2015 and where the annual pilgrimage takes place every September 12.
