The Dushk Tekke commemorates the 140th anniversary of its establishment.
Although at these natural heights, the initiator of the erection of the tekke of Dushku, father Ahmet Nazreci, who had grown up with the spirit of father Adem Melçani, through countless difficulties, tried to bring around him villagers of this area, conveying to them the virtues the highest of the Bektashi order. The sacrificial works of the fathers: Ahmet Nazreci, father Arif Perevkushti, father Jonuz Zhepa, father Kamber Leshnja, father Shaban Barmashi and even father Rexheb Plevishti, have left deep traces not only in the souls and generations of believers in these areas, but also itself in the full history of the Dushku tekke. In particular, the contribution of father Rexheb Plevishti will be remembered, who was a holder in this tekke from 1912 until 1949. When our Albania was suffering from the unfortunate events of 1914, when the traitors of Haxhi Qamil came up to this point they burned the tekke, the believers of Dushku saved father Rajab with their lives.
In the revival of this blessed tekke, after its demolition in the years 1914-1915, the outstanding contribution of father Rexhebi, join the spirit and dedication of father Tahir Hyseni, dervish Kajo Ali, father Pajo Hasa, etc.…, In this way, The tekke survived until the bad year of 1967, when the alleged “youth movement”, which today resembles the movement of Haxhi Qamil, led to the complete demolition of places of worship. In the early 90’s, with the direct care of our myrshid, dede Reshat Bardhi, with the good will of the clergy and believers of the area, the rebuilt house of Haxhi Bektash Veliu was added to this blessed place.
I would like to mention today the contribution of the Tragjini family, of Zenel yesterday and his son, Ali, today, who have carried a heavy burden on their shoulders during these years. I would like to thank them heartily today, praying for Haxhi Bektash Veliu to give them peace, prosperity and always healthy in their family!
