On January 18, 2022, on the occasion of the International Day of Religious Beliefs, the Municipality of Tirana organized an event with the visit of believers and clerics of the official Communities of Albania, the Muslim Community, the Autocephalous Orthodox Church, the Catholic Church of Albania, the Bektashi World Headquarters in each of the cult objects located in Tirana.
The purpose of this event was to get acquainted with a short history of the journey of faiths in Tirana and Albania. The contribution of religious beliefs and historical details on cult objects, prominent personalities from religious communities.
In this event was visited the Bektashi World Headquarters, where the World Grandfather, His Holiness, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, welcomed young people and clergy of different faiths in the premises of the Odeon, acquainting them with the 800-year history of Bektashism, the role of the Quarters , coexistence and harmony between religious faiths, the countless sacrifices of Bektashi clerics, their contribution to freedom and independence as well as the wisdom to approach the Creator with devotion. Work in the function of the Museum of Bektashism, Library, Archive and research in documents in the Archives in Albania and in the world, to further extract the contribution of Bektashism in society, as the wealth of humanity.
