Here, in this place, a full year ago, our brother, father Mumin Lama, was physically separated from this world. Our brother, the clergyman Mumin Lama, left the material world to unite with pure souls, leaving behind the example of devotion, devotion to the path of Haxhi Bektash Veliu, the precious religious and patriotic contribution of our peaceful faith. Separation from this life of our brother, father Mumin Lamaj, is a loss for all of us Bektashi believers everywhere in the world, at the same time an obligation to work harder, together with the myhibs, the clergy, the benevolent believers, to lead more beyond the religious and patriotic mission of father Mumin Lama, in the famous tekke of Gjakova. Baba Mumin Lama was born on June 1, 1949 in Gjakova, from a well-known family of the Bektashi faith. In 1987, he was accepted as myhib by father Tajari. Having displayed high moral, national and religious values, in 1993, Father Tajari, promoted Mumin Lama 'Dervish'. After the passing of father Tajari's life in 1994, the members of the Gjakova Tekke decided that the chosen leader should be the dervish Mumin Lama. In 1996, based on the rules of the Bektashi Order, Baba Mumin Lama was appointed postmaster of the Gjakova tekke by His Holiness, Haxhi Dede father Reshat Bardhi. Baba Mumini was put in charge of the tekke of Gjakova, in difficult times for Kosovo. The 90s of the 20th century, stood out in history for the comprehensive violence of the Serbian regime against the Albanian population; institutions and schools were closed. But, Father Mumin, recognizing the Bektashi tradition and that of the tekke he led, committed himself to turn this religious temple into a center for religious-cultural-artistic-historical manifestations, and at the same time gave the tekke for school, for the graduates of the gymnasium of Gjakova. Baba Mumini was known for his calmness, wisdom and generosity. He showed respect for every human being, he stood up with consideration for both children and the elderly. He did not distinguish people into elements that differentiate, but he considered these to be riches of the essence of being human. Thus he will be remembered for generations.
Dervish Rrauf Radoniqi of the Gjakova Tekke spoke about Baba Mumin Lama. Among other things, he said:"The months and years are moving very fast, but the longing for us is increasing. Baba Mumini led the Tekke and the Bektashi Community of Kosovo. He was fortunate to be a leader in difficult times, in war and after the war. He has made a great and valuable contribution. He experienced the burning and destruction of the tekke, the tomb and the library. He rebuilt the tekke, the tomb and committed himself to enriching the library. Of course, it was not easy for him, but he had complete faith in God Almighty, and things were done! There is no doubt that Baba Mumin will be mentioned and remembered in this tekke, but also in other places. It is his wisdom that will guide us. His gentleness will motivate us. And the advice of Baba Mumin, our myrshyd, will guide us in this life, in patriotism and in the faith we learned from Hynqar Haxhi Bektash Veliu. ”
In her speech, the Bektashi myhibja, at the same time the wife of the deceased, among other things said: “He knew the Bektashi traditions from his childhood, and the great love for Bektashism inherited from his family and the honesty that accompanied him made his figure and his word unforgettable in the journey of each of us. As Father's family we had the privilege of learning up close the value of being human, peaceful, and committed. For three decades in a row, Baba with his tireless work became an example of inter-religious tolerance inside and outside the country, as evidenced by the numerous visits he had from representatives of Embassies and organizations of various international missions operating in Kosovo. As a myhybe today and every time I am thankful to the Bektashi world leader, Baba Mondi, for the spiritual care and humanism he showed from Baba Mumin's illness to his eternity.. ”
At the same time, the 47th anniversary of the death of Baba Musa Himaduna was commemorated. With the prayers of the Elder, according to the Bektashi rule, the tomb of Baba Musa Himaduna was completed in the tomb of the fathers in the Bektashi tekke of Gjakova, after his reburial that took place on January 15, 2022 - after 47 remained in the city cemetery in Gjakova.
The Bektashi World Leader, Dede Edmond Brahimaj, remembering Baba Musa Himaduna, revealed details from his biography, highlighting the religious and national contribution and the broad culture that Baba Musa possessed. Among other things, the Grandfather said:"The activity of dervish Musa, throughout his life, revealed deep mystical love. Knowing well who the dervish Musa was, his religious, intellectual preparation and human sensitivity, Halife Baba Qazim Bakalli-postmaster of Grandmother Harabati, promoted Musa Himaduna "Baba" and placed the postmaster in Kichevo. Here, Father Musa Himaduna received many muhibs, in Kichevo, from other areas of Macedonia to Turkey. Father Musa Himaduna's activity continued even further in the Harabati tekke in Tetovo. Earlier, together with Baba Qazim, they had performed miracles in this holy temple, doing vital work for the maintenance and restoration of Harabat. Father Musa Himaduna also continued his activity for a while in Macedonia. Abuses and various plots, made that father Musa Himaduna, eventually,. ”
The father of the Gjakova Tekke, Rrauf Radoniqi, spoke about Father Musa Himaduna, who, among other things, said : the tekke was in the center of Gjakova. Father rested for 47 years in the city cemetery, but members and clerics of our tekke have always made efforts to bring Baba Musa to his rightful place, alongside his brothers. After such a long time of waiting, with the fervent desire of the Bektashis of Gjakova and with the permission of the Grandfather, Dede Edmond Brahimaj, on Saturday, January 15, 2022, Baba Musa came to the place that was reserved for him and that belonged to him. Now, we pay our respects to him at the tomb of the fathers of our tekke . ”
At the ceremony of placing the tomb of Baba Musa was present his myhibja, our sister Emine, who came from Macedonia to honor her myrshyd.
The attendees followed with interest the photo exhibition prepared for this event.
