Today, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of VETËVENDOSJE! Movement, Rexhep Selimi, together with the deputy Fjolla Ujkani and the advisor of the parliamentary group Salih Hoxha received in a meeting the World Leader of the Bektashis, His Holiness, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, Mumin Lamaj, and the head of Foreign Relations of the Bektashi World Headquarters, Arben Sulejmani.
In this friendly meeting, they talked about the law that has to do with Religious Freedoms and the challenges for its adoption, on which occasion Selimi informed the World Leader about the position of the VETËVENDOSJE Movement! which supports the recognition of the Bektashi community in our Republic. The Bektashi community in Kosovo has existed for centuries, and has interacted and contributed to creating a better future in the country. As such, this community should enjoy the rights by other religious communities recognized by law in Kosovo, always in compliance with the law and the Constitution of the country, said Selimi, who thanked the World Bektashi Supreme Leader for the visit.
