On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 7:30 p.m., the Cultural Information Center of the Republic of North Macedonia in Tirana, held a special activity, which was also attended by the Bektashi Grandfather, His Holiness, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, on the occasion of the promotion of the books: "Grand Prix de l'Acadèmie Française" (2021) and "The Eighth Wonder of the World", translated into Albanian, by the well-known writer Jordan Plevnesh, from North Macedonia.
Jordan Pllevnesh, in addition to being a successful writer, was also the ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia to France, Spain and Portugal between 2000 and 2005. In 2006, he was appointed vice-president of UNESCO's international committee for Dialogue between Civilizations.
Jordan is known as a writer of international reputation, author of theatrical dramas published and performed in more than 50 countries of the world. Some of the most important world newspapers such as Le Monde, New York Times, Le Figaro, The Guardian, have published many articles about his artistic work. In 2007, he founded the first private University for audiovisual arts in North Macedonia.
