The World Grandfather His Grace Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, received the Ambassador of Greece, Mrs. Sophia Philippidou

Today, the World Grandfather His Grace Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, received the Ambassador of Greece, Mrs. Sophia Philippidou.

The grandfather acquainted the ambassador with the spiritual journey of the Bektashis from 1930, when the World Center was established in Tirana and until today. The ambassador was also briefed on the countless sacrifices of Bektashi clerics, their contribution to freedom and independence, and the wisdom to approach the Creator with devotion.

Bektashi World Leader His Grace Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, introduced the ambassador to the current challenges of the Bektashi Holy See, both in the context of religious harmony in the Balkans, and the challenges of freedom of religion and belief.

For her part, Ambassador Philippidou thanked the Grandfather for the warm reception and said that it was a special pleasure to visit such environments that inspire only peace. She said, among other things, that relations between Greece and the Bektashi World Center will always be fraternal, for the sake of peace and religious freedom.
