The World Grandfather of Bektashi Comunity Hajji Dede Edmond Brahimaj, takes part in the traditional pilgrimage in Bubes – Përmet

Today, on June 15, 2022, the Bektashi believers of the Bubes area in the Municipality of Këlcyra, together with the Bektashi World Grandfather, His Holiness Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, commemorated Baba Ali, one of the brightest representatives of this faith in these parts, on the 15th anniversary of the reopening of this Tekke.
In the greeting of the occasion, the World Grandfather, Dede Edmond Brahimaj, said, among other things: "In the name of God, the Merciful, the Merciful!
Dear Bektashian believers, sisters and brothers of Bubes and the entire blessed province of Përmet!
Dear family members of Zaimaj, who have given and continue to give, day by day, the well-deserved splendor to this early house of Haxhi Bektashi, in front of Tomorri mountain!
The Exalted God, the twelve chaste imams, Haxhi Bektash Veliu and the late memory of father Ali of Bubes, may they always be help and light in your spiritual journey!
Today, it's been 15 years since the day when the shrine with father Ali's grave opened its door and welcomed the first pilgrims, after years of religious obscurantism and the transition full of drama of the Albanians. It was an unforgettable day not only for the believers of Bubës and Përmet, but for all of Bektashism, because a door that had been closed for four decades was opened. This courtyard was filled with the conversations, voices and wonderful songs of hundreds of believers, who lived such a touching reality, the light of God himself!
The joy of that day 15 years ago was undoubtedly enhanced by the presence of our myrshid, Dede Reshat Bardhi, who, although tired of the privations of the past, could not leave without seeing this place with a great history, could not don't sit in silence with father Ali Bubesi, that dignified and minister of our refined doctrine. The words of Dede Reshat Bardhi, on the day of the reopening of the teke, will remain engraved in our memory and yours for generations to come. They will always encourage us for good work and deeds.
The words and blessings of our Dede Reshat became reality. This is how this magnificent tomb stands today in the chest of the mountains. This is how we all talk together with father Ali's grave and with each other. Look at how beautifully the Bektashian greetings and prayers with which entire generations of believers were educated are conveyed. Look from a few trees, how this place was filled with thousands of them that continue to grow and increase day by day. And look at the good one, mother Sanija who has the same voice as 15 years ago. This is our tariqa that spreads peace, love and life!
Sisters and brothers!
Today we are all witnesses of the mass departure of youth from Albania. This is obvious, but also painful, because it leaves not just a number of people, but the future itself. What is happening today is a national tragedy. On this day of celebration, we are neither in the right place nor at the right time to make political or economic analysis. But of course we have the right to face reality and face it. Because we have the right to turn to God, with prayer, and surely He will hear us.
Years ago, the sons and daughters of the Zaimaj family left for a better life in foreign lands. But none of them lost faith in God, faith in the miracles of father Ali, faith that even these lands can be planted, harvested and keep the light of Haxhi Bektash Veli unextinguished. They returned to these places and what heaven God forgave them and their sweat, what festive proportions such ordinary June days take. Their return to the ancestral land and in particular the deep concern and respect for the revival of our tariqat, are evidence not only of their family sacrifices, but also a guarantee of the rewards that come to them from Hak'.
The example of the sons and daughters of Zaimaj, as well as the joyful devotion of our good mother, Sanija, fills us all with hope that, even in this drama of painful departure, there will be Albanians or Albanians from every province, who will return to their homeland. We pray to the Most High God, that these families are as numerous as possible, in every corner of this blessed land, believing in the famous verses of our Naim:
You, Albania, honor me,
My name is Albanian...
Therefore, once again, allow me to thank you all here, who came from far away, for coming to the 15th jubilee of the re-opening of Bubës teke, which has long joined the glories of Frashër, Alipostivan's teke , of Përmet, in the history of Albanian and world Bektashism. May there be blessings in your families!
God bless you all!
Amin!”
