The tekke of Reshat Dede Baba is located in the northwest of the city of Saranda, the administrative unit of Saranda, the Municipality of Saranda. Its construction was started on June 4, 2009, by Dede Reshat Bardhi, former World Leader of the Bektashis (1991-2011). The building started where the old traces of Sari Salltik were, on the hillside near the sea. The construction of the tekke started and continued under the direction of father Sadik Ibrokodheli. This tekke is in front of Corfu, where Sari Salltiku, the first missionary of Islam and Bektashism, stopped, where his story in Albania and the Balkans is a well-known story.
On the day when the work started, Dede Reshati said: “I feel sincerely happy and very respected to lay the foundation stone in our new tekke in Saranda!”. After a year, the tomb and the tekke were inaugurated. The inauguration, on June 2, 2010, was attended by Grandfather Dede Reshat Bardhi, who, among other things, said: “I feel happy that a year ago we laid the foundations of the shrine and tekke of Saranda and today, we inaugurate the wonderful tekke. In this tekke, in this place that God has blessed, I am sure that the flame of the teachings of Haxhi Bektash Veliu will always shine. ” Two prominent clerics, Father Islami and Father Bilali, are buried in the tombs of the shrine. The tekke, in these years has taken full shape with the beautiful shrine. It preserves Bektashi elements with spacious rooms, square, cafe room, kitchen, etc. There is also the museum room with many original Bektashi objects, arrived under the care of father Sadik Ibrokodheli.
