Today, on June 16, 2021, the diplomatic representative of the Political Affairs and the Press at the Embassy of Hungary in Albania, Mr. Bence József GOMBOR, had a visit to the Bektashi Holy See, where he was also received by the World Bektashi Grandfather, His Holiness, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj.
The grandfather thanked Mr. Bence József for the visit and got acquainted with the history, the activity of the Bektashi Holy See, the role of Bektashism in strengthening interfaith harmony and coexistence, progress and challenges encountered, as well as the contribution in various areas of social works.
During the meeting, the cooperation between Institutions was evaluated and the possibility of its deepening in the future through concrete projects in various cultural, social and educational fields was discussed.
During this visit, the hungarian diplomat, Mr. Bence József also had a visit to the premises of the Odeon (religious-cultural center), where he got acquainted with the museum of Bektashism, the library, archive, photo library / phonotheque, gallery, etc. The diplomatic representative of the Political Affairs and the Press at the Embassy of Hungary in Albania, Mr. Bence József GOMBOR was impressed by what he saw and was informed, expressing at the same time the appreciation for the mission and efforts of the Bektashi faith and in particular of the World Leader Dede Edmond Brahimaj, for the benefit of strengthening peace, human love, religious harmony and faith in God for the work and commitment shown in relation to other religious communities in the region, wishing success in fulfilling this mission.
At the end, the Grandfather donated two books: “Dede Edmond Brahimaj, 10 years World Leader of Bektashism”, by Nuri Çuni & Kujtim Boriçi and the photo album for Dede Reshat Bardhi.
