The Bektashi Holy See, under the special care of the Bektashi World Leader, His Grace Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, commemorated today at the Betashian World Headquarters in Tirana, the 100th anniversary of the First Bektashi Congress, which took place in Prishta, Skrapar, an event of religious and national importance.
This marks an important event for Albanian and world Bektashism, the 100th anniversary of the First Bektashi Congress, which, with its decisions, further consolidated the structural organization and spread of this peaceful faith, whose motto is has been and remains for eight centuries from birth onwards, “Without homeland, there is no religion!”.
The First Bektashi Congress was held in the tekke of Prishta in Skrapar from January 14 to 17, 1921, while his commemoration on this day coincides and is part of many other activities that take place in the framework of the “Year of Naim Frashëri (May 25, 1920-May 24, 1921).
