Allow me, as the Bektashi World Leader, to greet you on my own behalf and to bring you the best wishes of millions of Bektashi believers around the world:
May the Almighty accept your sublime sacrifices for the good of human society, peace and prosperity!
I am glad that the International Police Association is making efforts for the integration of the Albanian section in its bosom, manifesting not only a legitimate desire, but also a civic act for the very currents of today's Albanian society. I am fully convinced that with unwavering will, high level of professionalism, high moral responsibility, to deal with situations, our police forces will always be in defense of the law, the lives of citizens.
It is impossible not to notice that in the last three decades in our country, the state police, from a blind tool in the hands of what was called the "dictatorship of the proletariat" has become an excellent shield of law, of democratization and civilization processes, joining the nationwide efforts to knock on the doors of Europe with our national dignity. Meanwhile, the efforts to join the World Police Association with full statutory rights, in addition to legitimate enthusiasm, I think will remove the generations of our police from the reminiscences of the previous regime.
Sisters and brothers present in this hall!
Although our missions seem very distant from each other, we essentially join the blessed idea of building a society of high divine and human morality. Let us thus remain united with the will and love of God and you with fidelity and correctness in defending the law, serving the people, in every heartbeat. Just as we share a heaven that God has given us, let us share our human destinies, nurturing peace and goodness.
