The World Grandfather of Bektashi Community, His Holiness Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, through a message, expresses his condolences for the passing away of the former President of the Republic, Bujar Nishani.

With deep sadness, I received the bitter news of the passing from this temporary life of President Bujar Nishani at the age of 56. This event undoubtedly constitutes a loss, not only for the Albanians and His family.
On behalf of the Holy See of the Bektashi World Supreme Court, allow me to express the highest consideration for his activity throughout his life and as President of the Republic during the years 2012-2017. We had a close cooperation with him, for religious coexistence in Albania and more widely. He contributed to the evaluation of the figures of the Bektashi clerics with high titles such as: "Honour of the Nation", the Order "Knight of Skënderbeu" and other titles for many patriotic and patriotic clerics in the service of the nation. I assure you that His memory will always be a source of goodness for millions of Bektash believers everywhere in the world.
