The World Grandfather of Bektashi Community, His Holiness Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, through a message, consoles the family, relatives, friends and colleagues of academician Nasho Jorgaq, who passed away yesterday, at the age of 90. Through this message, Dede Edmond Brahimaj, appreciates the writer and publicist Jorgaqi as a friend of Bektashism, for whom he has written books, portraits and numerous publicistic articles, valuable documents for generations to come.
"...I learned with deep sadness about the death of our friend's brother, academician Nasho Jorgaqi. I offer my condolences to his family, relatives, friends, friends and colleagues for this loss and share with them this loss of a rare personality for Albanian literature, culture, history and journalism. Nasho Jorgaqi was a friend of the Bektashites and has written continuously about this peaceful faith and well-known personalities of this faith. He has written books, reportages, essays and genuine studies, for which we have constantly supported him. He was present in many activities that the Holy See has developed over the years, in Albania and abroad, giving his contribution. Jorgaqi's contribution to Bektashism is in several directions. Thus, Nasho Jorgaqi, with the support of the Bektashian Holy See, wrote and published the book "In Istanbul to Naimi". Also, he prepared a study about the National poet, the Great Bektashi, Naim Frashëri, which was included in the book "Naim Frashëri, Apostle and Nightingale of Albanianism", by the authors Kujtim Boriçi & Nuri Çuni, being at the same time a consultant of this book.
