Today, October 2, is commemorated the 571st anniversary of the founding of the Kuçi tekke in Devoll, where at the same time, it is the traditional day of pilgrimage. The Bektashi World Leader, His Holiness, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, also participates in this activity.
This tekke is located in the village of Inonisht, Administrative Unit Qendër, Bilisht, Municipality of Devoll.
This Bektashi object, is early (year 1450) and is associated with the name of Kasëm Babai, who, came here with a group of clerics from the tekke of Durballi Sultan, Greece. He was the first guide in Albania in Bektashi uniform. In 1826, this building was destroyed by the missionaries of Sultan Mahmud II. It was rebuilt in 1835 by father Ibrahimi, in that time new buildings were built. The tekke of Kasëm Babai, played an important religious and patriotic role during the national renaissance. The fathers and dervishes who lived and preached in the tekke of father Kasemi, left traces in the history of Devoll. In 1882, Sulejman Mahmud from the village of Fushëz-Kostur, who served in this tekke until 1944, was still dressed with the clergy uniform.
Dritëro Agolli writes: "The name Dritëro was given to me by father Ahmeti, who led the tekke in the years 1930-1940, with dervish Ali". Here, Father Hafizi was killed in 1914 by Greek andarts. Fathers and dervishes have served for years: father Qazim Setki Llaka, dervishes Ali Hysen, dervishes Rakip Koloneci, dervishes Abdulla Jashar, dervishes Kadri Hajsen, dervishes Samit Hajsen, dervishes Tosun Selman Bonoja, dervishes Nevrus Mehmet Metushi, father Suajman Babaj Suleja Metaj, dervish Tosun Bono, dervish Nevruz Metushi etc. The building was closed by the monist state in 1967. It reopened in 1991. The special care and main contributor to this tekke today, is the well-known businessman Spartak Meraku. Pilgrimage to the tekke of Kuçi is done from the whole area of ​​Devoll, at the beginning of October.
