Today, on the International Family Day, representatives of the religious communities of the country held a joint conference on the premises of "Tirana International Hotel" on the topic: "To protect the family as a sacred temple."
In this activity, the Bektashi World Headquarters was represented by Mr. Syrja Xhelaj (representer of the Department of Culture).
After greeting the participants, Mr. Xhelaj focused on the importance of organizing such activities in promoting family values in our society. According to him, all of us must constantly contribute, starting from the close social circles and continuing with activities and conferences of national rank, to give the younger generations the right example of the family.
Also, he said, the role of the family in society is fading and it is the duty of all institutions, in particular politics to invest more in the family. On World Family Day, representatives of different religions in Albania address an appeal to Albanian politics to increase attention to families, in order to get society out of the many problems they have.
The activity continued with the reference of other representatives of religious communities, who in their words emphasized the importance of the contribution of all of us in further strengthening and promoting the Albanian family.
The event was attended by representatives of civil society and the media.
