The statue of Queen Geraldine was inaugurated today, on February 1, 2022, on Zogu I Boulevard in the square near the Ministry of Justice, on the 20th anniversary of the return of the Royal Family and her passing away.
The ceremony was attended by the Bektashi World Leader, His Holiness, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, the Ambassador of Hungary Mr. Lóránt Balla, the Mayor of Tirana Mr. Erion Veliaj, members of the diplomatic corps and representatives of religious communities, etc.
This work of art was funded by the Hungarian government and the municipal council of Tirana, selected this place symbolically so significant for the erection of the bust.
