Today, on June 21, 2021, at 11:00, at the “Solidarity Center”, on a ‘Different weekend’ foundation, a special event took place, which was also attended by the Bektashi World Leader, His Grace, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, on the occasion of the promotion of the book by the author Enver Kushi: “With Moikomi”, 1st anniversary of his death.
In the presence of many personalities of Albanian literature, members, friends and benefactors of Moikom Zeqo, the World Leader expressed his high appreciation for the figure and contribution of this scholar, writer, archaeologist, valuable friend and permanent collaborator, in the contribution of  Bektashism.
He contributed to Bektashism, where among 62 books, he published “The Prince of Mysticism”, “The Third Eye” on Naim Frashëri and Bektashism.
He has participated in many symposia, national and international scientific conferences on Bektashism, chaired by the Bektashi World Headquarters.
Through reading his works, we come to understand the essence, not just the great literature, but especially the great love with which Moikomi, manifested throughout his life. Deep love for his nation, for literature, philosophy, antiquity and all Albanian visages.
The pages of this book reflect the last moments of the erudite’s departure from this life, as well as his hostages.
The friendship between the author of this book, Mr. Enver Kushi, museologist for several years at the Museum of the Bektashi World Headquarters and Moikom Zeqos has its beginnings, in the benches of the Faculty of Philology, 54 years ago and this book dedicated to his friend, comes on the anniversary of his death, but was also aware of Moikomi, who approved of his writing and title.

Greetings of the Bektashi World Leader, His Grace, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj.
I gladly accepted the invitation to attend today’s event, but as I sat down to write these greeting lines, I thought for a moment about Moikomi. How easy it would be for us to have him today, to talk about his work, and to have Moikomi by our side. How beautiful it would be to hear from his mouth, the current explanations and ideas unfolded with such depth and surprise. How easy it would have been if our Moikomi had explained to us the philosophies of antiquity, viewed through the realities of these days!
But we miss Moikomi physically. He now surely walks in the gardens of paradise leaving us, the living in this world, to speak and discuss without his physical presence, but with his eternal spiritual presence. We need to contemplate through his great art, the mortal and immortal things of this world. We need, through reading his works, to understand in essence not just the great literature, but especially the great love with which Moikomi, manifested throughout his life. Deep love for his nation, for literature, philosophy, antiquity and all Albanian visages.
I have said it elsewhere; Moikomi in addition to merit in every sphere, remains today one of the most prominent scholars of Bektashism. Bektashi also for its biological origin, Moikomi through a long series of studies, would highlight especially the tolerance of our tarikat, focusing at length on the philosophy of Bektashism as well as its proximity to other philosophies of the times. Moikomi, in his book “The Third Eye” perceives the tariqat as a universe of freedom, relying especially on the spirit of Naim Frashëri.
But today is the time to give way to scholars. I am glad that although Moikom’s heart has been silent, his work continues its journey. Everyone, it’s worth reading and wondering what he left behind.
God bless all of you who bring such treasures to light!
God bless you all!
Amin!
