August 24, 2022, marked the 31st anniversary of Ukraine's independence from the former Soviet Union. This day also coincided with six months since the beginning of the attack and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
In the ceremony of the occasion, organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in Tirana, the Grandfather of the World Bektashian, His Holiness, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, who after congratulating the Ambassador Mr. Volodymyr Shukrov and all Ukrainian citizens for this marked day, emphasized the reaffirmation of support for Ukraine's struggle, in defense of its territorial integrity, independence and democracy, against the unprovoked and unjustified Russian invasion.
